Forest Post connects forest communities to markets beyond their local reach. It provides trainings in craft and design. Tribal women are trained to value-add to ingredients that they harvest from their local forests, the result of which is this range of Forest Post beeswax soaps and balms and herbal hair oils. Forest Post linkages to the market, gives these communities forest-dependent an additional means of earning, and contributes to livelihood security. This beeswax balm is made with beeswax harvested from a forest in India. It has been made by tribal women of the central Western Ghats. Preserving tribal forest domicile acknowledges and supports their role in local forest resource management and conservation. You can be a part of forest conservation too.
