Instructions / Precautions
Cold compress method:
- Place the cold pack in the freezer for 1-2 hours.
- Remove the cold pack from the freezer and place a light towel or fabric barrier between the skin and the cold pack. Use the napkin/cloth as necessary to hold the pack in place.
- Without professional advice, do not exceed 20 minutes of cold therapy at a time.
- Return the cold pack to the freezer and cool it for 30 minutes before reapplying it to the area.
Hot compress method:
HOT WATER: bring water to a boil, remove from heat, and immerse the gel pack for approximately 4-10 minutes. After 4 minutes, check every 1 minute to see if the correct temperature has been reached, then remove and dry it for use
WARNING:
Continuous cold in one area can cause injury. To avoid frostbite, cold therapy should not exceed 20 minutes at a time. Continually shift the product's position when used and never use it longer than 20 minutes in one location. Check the skin under the pack frequently to avoid damage. **For the safety of keeping contents inside the compartments, it is not advised to place the gel pack in the microwave for heating. Do not use a damaged pack. Discard the pack if it is damaged, punctured, or torn.
CARE AND STORAGE:
Store cold pack in the freezer between uses. To clean, wash in lukewarm water with mild soap and air dry. Not dishwasher safe.
