Ingredients: Rice, Urad Dal Benefits and Uses : Dhokla is a savoury sponge dish that is native of Gujarat. The ingredients of a dhokla are super rich in proteins. Khatta Dhokla is a fermented food which is easy to digest. Fermentation of foods increases the bioavailability of nutrients which helps the body to assimilate more nutrition. How to use: Take desired quantity of Dhokla Flour in a bowl. Add Water / Butter Milk / Curd and mix it to make a smooth lump free batter. Add salt to the taste and keep it aside for 6 hours to ferment naturally. If you wish can add leavening agents and pour the batter into the mould. Steam the Dhokla. Soft and Spongy Dhokla is ready.
